I have some truly exciting news to share with all of you today! I recently had the incredible honor of being featured in Voyage Virginia as part of their inspiring Community Highlights series. 

Voyage Virginia is well known across our state for showcasing local entrepreneurs, advocates, and small business leaders who are working to make a real difference in their neighborhoods.  

Being invited to sit down with them was such a special milestone for me. It gave me a welcome moment to pause, reflect on my personal journey, and celebrate the incredible community that makes my work at Family Hearing Services so deeply rewarding every single day.

During our conversation, I got the chance to open up about what originally inspired my path into the world of audiology and hearing care.  

For me, restoring someone's connection to their loved ones through better hearing has always been deeply personal work. It’s never just about the technology or the devices we prescribe, but about the human connections, conversations, and moments that happen when you can hear clearly again.

When you spend your days inside the clinic focusing completely on patient care, it can be easy to get caught up in the daily grind. Being featured in Voyage Virginia was a gentle and beautiful reminder of why I started this practice in the first place. 

Building Family Hearing Services was never just about running a business for me; it was about creating a safe, welcoming space where people feel truly heard, understood, and supported.  

Having my story shared on a broader platform means so much because it allows us to reach even more people in our community who might be struggling with hearing loss or searching for compassionate guidance for a loved one.
