Ear Cleaning

Ear wax or cerumen is made naturally to protect the ear from any foreign body. In some people, ear wax builds up over time and can cause tinnitus or affect their hearing. It is recommended that cerumen build-up needs to be treated professionally to minimize damage to the ear. At Family hearing services we are trained to remove cerumen in a safe and efficient way and we test the eardrum and the middle ear following the procedure as a precautionary step.

Insurance does not cover ear cleaning performed by an audiologist. Our pricing: $50 for ear cleaning (15-minute session)
